A few words from some tactrainers alumni............
“John Linenbach is an
outstanding handgun instructor. He is well versed, organized and patient. He is
able to convey clear and concise instructions while maintaining a positive
approach. He has the ability to instruct beginning students, as well as those who
are already skilled at tactical shooting. If a student wants to learn a very
specific skill he will research it and provide a customized session for
learning that skill. We have been very fortunate to have an instructor with his
credentials and multifaceted shooting abilities. We highly recommend him.”

Defensive Shooting Series
These
classes are designed to reinforce each other. These are stand-alone classes
so they don’t have to be taken in order. These classes are 4 hours each so the
time commitment will still fit into a busy schedule. They are designed with
Self-Defense applications in mind. There
is a limit of 4 shooters per class to maintain a high instructor to student
ratio.
*Defensive Series Class: Speed, Accuracy, and Movement
(Dynamic Techniques for Dynamic
Applications)
Speed, Accuracy, and Movement builds your fundamental techniques like stance, grip,
trigger control, and sight focus into a blend of actions
that work with each other and with the recoil of the
weapon. These are the techniques that advanced shooters use today which don’t
conflict with each other, they allow for economy of motion while presenting,
firing, and reloading the weapon. These
techniques are just as easy to learn as the “old school” style but 10 times
more effective.

a time) into proficiency at moving and shooting.

cover. The shooter will also use shooting-on-the-move techniques with the cover
as a destination.

techniques which will help the shooter to hang on to it. Students will learn to
better judge how close a person has to be to perform a disarm and when to
switch techniques from conventional to retention, or from retention to
conventional. Shooters will learn effective ways to score hits on close targets
